Trademark protection in Vanuatu is governed by the Vanuatu Trademarks Act 2003 (VTA 2003). All registrations are handled locally by the Vanuatu Intellectual Property Office (VIPO), established in 2012. Vanuatu is not a member of the Madrid Agreement or Protocol.
