In order for the User to have access to services offered by iGERENT or through the Site, iGERENT will require certain personally identifiable information from the User when registering an account and hiring services. 

Required Personally Identifiable Information includes: User’s and Proprietor’s (if different) first and last name, nationality, gender, physical street address, country, city, state, region, zip code, phone number and e-mail addresses and mailing information. iGERENT uses this information for the sole purpose of administering its services for the User/Proprietor, and does not use such information for any other reason.

3.  CERTAIN PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII) WILL BE MADE PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE WHEN PROCESSING SERVICES

When processing an application for the registration of an intellectual property right or services related to these (trademark, patents, copyrights, etc.), certain owner information will become public. The different local intellectual property registration authorities (government authorities) will publish the owner information of the different intellectual property rights that are looking to be registered, either through a digital publicly accessible database or physically through paper journals, bulletins or gazettes, or both. Information that will become public are the applicant's or owner's full name, nationality and address.

4.  USERS ACCESS AND MODIFICATION OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII)

User will have access to all personally identifiable information (PII) provided through the Site through User’s own personal account with the Site. User may modify or update any information at any time through the User's account. When User supplies personal information using online forms on the Site, User will always have the option of opting out from receiving marketing and promotional material relating to iGERENT products and services. However, the ability to opt out from receiving marketing and promotional materials does not alter iGERENT’s right to contact the User regarding the use of the Site or Services ordered through the Site.

Modification of and personally identifiable information through the Site will not automatically modify the personally identifiable information published by the different local government agencies through which intellectual property rights were applied for or registered.

5.  SECURING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII)

iGERENT makes genuine efforts so that its servers and connections incorporate the latest encryption and security parameters. Physical, electronic, and managerial procedures have been implemented to safeguard and secure the information collected through the Site. All information is transmitted by secure servers (SSL). However, no data transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure and therefore iGERENT cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from the Site, or through the use of its Services. Information is provided at User's own risk. IGERENT DISCLAIMS LIABILITY for the theft, loss or interception of, or unauthorized access or damage to, User’s data or communications by using the Site.

6.  RECORDAL OF COMMUNICATIONS

For quality assurance purposes and due to the nature of Services offered through the Site, e-mail and electronic communication between iGERENT and the User will be archived for future reference between the communicating parties for as long as needed to provide User the Services ordered through the Site or iGERENT. Telephone conversations between iGERENT employees and the User or caller may be recorded for training purposes and quality assurance.

7.  TESTIMONIALS AND REVIEWS

iGERENT may collect customer testimonials and reviews through email or online surveys, directly or through third-party costumer review software providers.

iGERENT may display personal testimonials of satisfied customers (Users) directly or through third-party websites. If the User wishes to update or delete their testimonial, the User can contact iGERENT at [email protected]. iGERENT may display customer (User) reviews directly or through third-party websites.  If the User provides a review that is displayed and the User wishes to update or delete it, the User can contact iGERENT at [email protected].

The User accepts that iGERENT may provide their full name and email address to independent third-party customer review software providers for the sole purpose of collecting and validating testimonials and reviews.

8.  DISCLOSING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII)

iGERENT may disclose personally identifiable information when required by law, and when iGERENT believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect a User’s/Proprietor’s rights, when necessary in a fraud investigation, or to respond to a legal request. When such disclosure is done, notification will be sent to the e-mail associated with the User’s account from which personally identifiable information was inputted. However, such notification will not be done if prohibited by competent authorities.

9.  PARTICIPATING IN BLOGS AND FORUMS

iGERENT’s Blog and Forums are publicly accessible without the need of registering an account on the Site. However, in order to leave comments and participate in comment sections, having an account with the Site is necessary. Although iGERENT strongly supports free speech, it is strictly prohibited to post someone's personal information, or post links to personal information. Comments that include profanity, hate speech, xenophobic or racist comments are strictly prohibited.  iGERENT reserves the right to delete any comment without cause from its blog or comment section, and to block User accounts if through such an account private information or prohibited comments are posted.

The Site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook “Like” button and “Share this” options. Social Media Features and Widgets are hosted by a third-party site. User’s interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the third party social network site.
