Trademarks in Oman are valid for 10 years from the filing date and are renewable indefinitely for additional 10-year terms.

• Standard renewal window: 6 months before expiration
• Grace period: 6 months after expiration
• After grace period: Technically considered lapsed, but renewals are often still accepted beyond this deadline in practice

• Power of Attorney, legalized by:
• Apostille, if from a member of the Hague Convention
• Omani Consulate, if Apostille not applicable
• Renewal form and payment of fees
• Publication of the renewal in the Official Gazette

• Officially, no restoration is allowed after the grace period
• However, the Trademark Office accepts late renewals beyond the 6-month window
• Re-registration by third parties is blocked for 3 years after lapse
