A trademark registration in Kyrgyzstan is valid for 10 years from the date of application. It is renewable every 10 years for an unlimited number of terms.

The renewal timeline is as follows:

• Within 1 year before the expiration date: Standard renewal period.
• 6-month grace period after expiration: Renewal allowed with a late fee.
• After the grace period: The trademark automatically lapses and cannot be restored.

To renew your trademark, submit:

• A Power of Attorney (legalization may be requested but is not always required)
• The registration number
• Payment of the renewal fee
• Late renewal surcharge if within the grace period

Renewals are published in the Official Bulletin issued by Kyrgyzpatent.
