Trademark protection in Fiji is governed by the Trade-Marks Act 1933, based on the UK Trade Marks Act of 1905. A new Trade Marks Act (2021) has been passed but is not yet in force. Until then, all renewals are governed by the existing law and managed by the Fiji Intellectual Property Office (FIPO).
