Failure to renew on time results in automatic lapse, but there is a grace period for late renewals with a surcharge. If the trademark is not renewed within the grace period, it cannot be restored and must be re-registered.
A trademark registration in Belize is valid for 10 years from the date of application. It can be renewed indefinitely for additional 10-year periods
